Ballet for Everyone

April 2024 • In collaboration with AAAD (@an action a day)

Date: April 2025
Location: Bao Dance Studio, Shanghai
Hosted by: TAGLIONIII × AAAD (An Action A Day)

In collaboration with lifestyle brand AAAD, TAGLIONIII hosted a free community ballet class designed to break the stereotypes around ballet and make it more approachable for adult beginners.

We often hear questions like:
“I’m already 30 — is it too late to start learning ballet?”
“I’m not flexible at all — can I still try?”
“Isn’t ballet only for a certain type of body?”

This event was created to answer those questions with a simple, resounding: yes, you can.

While pursuing ballet professionally requires early and intensive training, enjoying ballet as a form of self-expression, movement, and artistry should never be limited by age, experience, or body type. Whether you’ve danced before or are stepping into a studio for the first time, ballet has something to offer.

We welcomed a group of curious and courageous first-time dancers who stepped into the studio with excitement and a little bit of nervousness — and left with new confidence, a deeper understanding of their bodies, and most importantly, smiles on their faces.

This collaboration also celebrated AAAD’s 2nd anniversary and its empowering message of “natural size” — promoting body positivity, self-acceptance, and the freedom to move without fear or judgment.

For us, it wasn’t just a ballet class.
It was a space of possibility, community, and joy.

We’re always in action.
